Julia Phillips

Hi! I am Julia Phillips a junior Environmental Science major with a focus in policy and a minor in Political Science at Gettysburg College. I have been interested in the environment since I was a child and loved spending my days outside. My senior year at Holderness School in New Hampshire I did a senior thesis on pollution and marine life. I was able to do an internship at Loggerhead MarineLife at the conservation department in Juno Beach where I did a beach cleanup collected the data and sent it to NOAA. I also got to help make a fact sheet to help people in the area be aware how harmful plastic is to turtles. After this, I knew I wanted to major in Environmental Science and help animals!
