About Me

Picture of me back in 8th Grade when I went to Costa Rica. This picture was taken in the backyard of a local subsistence farm in the rain forests near Lake Arenal.

Hi everybody! My name is Ryan Wagner and I’m a junior Environmental Studies major at Gettysburg College. I was born and raised in Westhampton Beach, NY and I love the outdoors and nature, but I’m also very fond of capturing what nature gives us in different ways. So I thought it would be a great idea to take a class to learn how to communicate environmental issues in a way that can be understood by all. The main focus of my degree is actually focused in ecology and sustainable development, stemming from my love for nature and the organisms that make them up and the desire to see our society minimize our impact on the environment. Thank you so much for visiting my page and enjoy reading!
